Tregorrick Park Fundraising Bingo Evening

Saturday 19th April 2008

Mount Charles Social Club.

Everyone at Tregorrick Park YFC would like to say a very big” THANK YOU” to all Mount Charles Social Club for allowing us to use their function room and supplying us with all the Bingo Books and flyers for the evening, Also a very “BIG THANKYOU” to all the local businesses and friends of our club who were kind enough to donate a prize for the evenings Bingo. A list of which is as follows,

G1 / Pentewan Watersports, Mill Auto Supplies, B&Q, No 4, Halfords, Lowen-Chy Crafts, P.C Universe, Varkers Electrical, Jewsons, Planet Lifestyle, J2 / Ouch, Alias Smith, Superdrug, Evans Hardware, St Merryn Meat, Timpsons,  Mrs & Mrs Bilkey (and mum), Mr & Mrs Wilson, Mr & Mrs White, Mr & Mrs Cross, Mrs Batt.

A list of the prizes to be won on the night included a Body Board, Body Board Bag, Car Speakers, Bottle Jack, Car Wash Kit, Engraving kit, Hair Products, Childrens Tee Shirts, Gifts Vouchers, 8ft Paddling Pool, Hair Products, 1gb Memory Stick, Fashion Bags, Meal Vouchers, Set of dvd’s, Electrical screw driver, Hat and glove set, Lava lamp, 2.85kg persil colour, Tin of biscuits, Gents toiletry’s, Chicken dinner, bottles of wine & Beer, plus the ever popular Meat draw.

The first people started arriving at 6pm, much to the relief of Graham frise, Organiser / Fundraising officer and Bingo caller. After everyone had purchased their books and raffle, the evenings games got under way just after 7pm. With a full room the only space left for a few late arrivals was standing at the bar, and after a fun filled evening we managed to raise a staggering £599.00

Thank you again to all who supported us on our first bingo evening, and watch this space for the date our next one.

POKER EVENING

we recently organised a fund-raising poker night in association with  Chris West from Drawing dead poker who volunteered his services to run it and very kindly donated pasties on the night!

For those that attended who had never played poker before, said it was a great fun night and hope we have another one! Watch this space folks!

We are pleases to announce that the evening raised £222.00
