Tregorrick Celts V Charlestown MSC

Tregorrick Celts preparing to play against Charlestown MSC for the 2nd time in 2 weeks, both teams were in very good spirits before the match started due to the snow falling in abundance and lots of excitement could be felt coming from both sides.
After the starting whistle the Celts were straight into MSC applying pressure from the off and pushing towards MSC’s goal where they forced an own goal following a George Truscott strike.
The next goal came form Cally Rundle following a perfectly executed long pass from George Truscott.
Dillon Frise then made an unprecedented run with the ball only to be stopped by an admiral save from MSC’s Keeper, Cally Rundle then pitched in a well placed corner which was sent just past the far post from a Jamie Franks header, pressure was on for MSC and George Truscott played another perfect cross into the area which was stopped yet again by MSC keeper.
Not to be deterred it was George Truscott’s turn hit the back of MSC’s net to get the Celts 3rd goal following a sweetly struck cross from Cally Rundle.
The Celts were on a roll and looking good, with the whole team moving and passing the ball well, another corner to the Celts which was met by George Truscott who laid it off to Dillon Frise to claim his 1st goal by placing the ball in to the bottom left of MSC goal. MSC won a corner, which was blocked by Nathan Retallick who passed the ball to Dillon Frise in his own area who then ran the length of the pitch beating MSC defenders to get his 2nd goal.
Second half and the Celts came out a little too relaxed and MSC were quick to pick up on that and in the first minute MSC’s Callum Bertrand managed to beat the Celts Keeper Tom Rowe to get MSC’s first goal, this was quickly followed by another Callum Bertrand run to get his 2nd goal for MSC making the score 5 - 2 to the Celts, The Celts realised the game wasn’t won yet and turned on the heat again, James Venning took control of the mid field making sure that any advance from MSC was swiftly dealt George Truscott was making good use of the width of the pitch and made anther wonderful cross which was planted firmly in the back of MSC goal by Dillon Frise to claim his hat-trick.
MSC were on the advance again and the Celts Sam Webb made a perfectly timed tackle to win the ball and passed to George Truscott who then made his own long run to claim his 2nd goal of the match making the score 7 -2.
Cally rundle then took possession of the ball and with some Ronaldo like footwork he weaved up the pitch to get his 2nd goal of the day.
Last 3 minutes and Jack Curley took a Celt throw in which found Jamie Franks who again worked his magic to get the final goal of the day ending the match 9 - 2 to the Celts.
