Tuesday, October 16th, 200713th October 2007 Local derby for the U13’s - Tregorrick -8 v Charlestown – 0 Tregorrick showed great team performance and spirit on Sunday within the squad with a convincing derby day win over archrivals Charlestown. One and two touch football by Tregorrick gave them an opening with the first goal scored by Seth Couch from a header. Excellent creative play by Curtis Beel was admired, which gave further goals in the first half from Jowan Annear scoring two, followed by Mo Jo with a header. All four goals in the first half came with committed team spirit. Charlestown started the second half and threatened Tregorrick’s defence on occasion; however, two further breakaway moves added two more goals via Luke Damerell and Jowan Annear again. Tregorrick finished the stronger by adding two more goals through Seth Couch and a rasping drive from Courtney Rowe. Managers: Steve Yelland and Adrian Street expressed to their players “Congratulations team on a top-drawer performance”.
