Tregorrick Titans - Padstow U9
Saturday 10th November and the Titans were away to Padstow U9. With a 10 eager waiting to start the game and with the Titans sat in the middle of the league table, this proved to be a thrilling match.
With good passing skills throughout the squad it wasn’t long before a Jack Williams made a long pass, which Nathan Allen cleverly dummied taking the attention from the ball until it was at the sure footed Jordan Cooper and Bang. It was 1 - 0 to the Titans.
Centre spot again and they were off, with end to end play, The Titans were playing some of their best football, clean, accurate passes, then with a bit of luck Padstow were able to come back 1 -1. Game on.
With 5 mins left of the second half and some spectacular off the line saves form our GK Ollie Burt, it was still 1 - 1, then all of a sudden, with a Taylor Chapman long throw special, Jordan Cooper was in again, and it was 2 - 1.
I would like to thank the squad, Katie G, Jacob S, Matt R, Brandon P, Joe R, Jack W, Jordan C, Taylor C, Nathan A and Ollie B, for their outstanding display of football and it was a pleasure to stand in and take the match in Manager Lea Coopers absence.
